Since the beginning of November 2021 education and care workers have been required to adhere to a vaccination requirement under a Public Health Order (PHO). This Public Health order mandating vaccination against COVID-19 has been repealed by the NSW Government at the start of 13 May 2022. Therefore Services are NO LONGER required to mandate vaccinations.
Services are now required to make informed decisions about the management of COVID-19 and may choose to implement their own policies around vaccination within their organisation.
Member Support has taken many calls from services asking for information on how to now manage staff COVID-19 vaccinations. CCSA has developed a printable guide
for our members, to provide services with some guidance on what to consider when looking at the management of COVID-19 including staff, policies and risk assessments.
